2008 Toyota Sequoia Specification- Cargo Space

The 2008 Toyota Sequoia models have already been launched in the market after receiving a new styling. With this the second-generation production line has begun. It is now longer, taller and wider as compared to the previous year. This year, the manufacturer has launched the line-up in three trims, such as SR5, Limited and Platinum in both two-wheel and four-wheel drive tractions.

A slight decline in the maximum cargo capacity has been noticed as compared to the previous generation. But however, it does not make much difference as the latest redesigned Sequoia models come with a fold-flat third-row seat that has been made possible by a new, independent double-wishbone rear suspension. There is already ample cargo room behind the third row and one gets even more when the seat is folded down. When the seat is folded flat, large baggage or cargo can be loaded without removing the seat. It is a well-organized cargo area, even having tow hooks that can hang grocery bags. As the second-row seats can also be folded flat, there are some 120 cubic feet of cargo volume. This figure is almost 11 cubic feet more as compared to other models in this category. Moreover, throughout the cabin there are some eight extra-large cup holders and eight bottle holders and apart from these, the models also have a number of other storage spaces. For instance, the glove box that now measures 9.5 liters and the second-row console box can hold 12 CDs or four DVD cases.
